Fishing in Rögle ponds
Rögle Dammar is an easily accessible and family-friendly sport fishing area with barbecue areas, toilets, wind shelters and several piers. The area consists of five ponds that are home to rainbow trout, trout, pike, perch, roach, bream and carp. The fishing is varied for both beginners and the more experienced.

Rögle dams can be found in the northwestern part of the Skrylle area, see overview map.The map also shows the three parking lots adjacent to the dams.
Fishing license
Fishing licenses can be purchased during weekdays at Skryllegården or on site with a Swish to 1235880125. Information with current prices and fishing rules can be found at dam 1 and dam 4, during weekends in the office at dam 1 (eastern dam). See more information under the heading opening hours. Companies and municipal administrations can be invoiced against an issued requisition.
The fishing license must always be carried when fishing and can be presented together with identification upon request. Fishing without a valid fishing license is punishable as poaching and the fishing equipment may be confiscated. When paying with Swish, the Swish receipt in the app's history counts as a fishing license.

Dams 1 and 2 (eastern dams)
Fish species: Rainbow and trout, but also perch, roach and pike.
Fishing methods: Spinning, fly, ice fishing and angling (see rules below). When fishing with bobby or spinning fly, fishing must be done actively.
Angling may be done with a rod and only single hooks are permitted. It is permitted to use floats or to bottom fish with lead weights. Corn, maggots, worms, shrimp and artificial baits (from manufacturers such as Powerbait, Gulp, Libra, etc.) are permitted as bait. However, it is not permitted to use pasta from e.g. powerbait.
All forms of mash and feeder fishing are prohibited in ponds 1-2.
What about in pond 1-2?
- The fishing license entitles you to fishing in all five ponds.
- The maximum catch per adult day card is 2 game fish and for youth cards 2 game fish.
- Maximum two cards per day/angler.
- Rainbow trout and brown trout may not be released.
- Perch weighing 1kg or more must be released.
- Pike, regardless of weight, can be caught to take home.
- Priest (club) is mandatory in ponds 1-2
- Nets are mandatory in all five ponds.
- The fishing license is personal and catches may not be transferred.
- After fishing, the catch of game fish must be reported to the supervisory staff regardless of whether you have caught any fish or not.
Ponds 3 – 5 (western ponds)
Fish species: Roach, perch, carp, bream, tench, rudd, bream, pike
Fishing methods: Angling, spinning, fly and ice fishing.
What about in ponds 3-5?
- The fishing license is valid for using two rods.
- Only one single hook per rod when fishing.
- Tents (bivy) are only allowed for use when fishing and in places that do not disturb other guests, not on the footpath.
- Bait boats are not allowed.
- Unhooking mats are mandatory when fishing for carp, tench and bream.
- Pike, regardless of weight, can be caught to take home.
- Bream, tench, rudd, carp and bream will be released.
- Perch weighing 1kg or more must be released.
- Nets are mandatory in all five ponds.
- Rods should never be left unattended.
- No burning in places other than those specified
- No felling of forests and branches
Crayfishing
Crayfish fishing 2026 will be held on Friday 7/8 in ponds 4 and 5 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a total of 130 places. We are also arranging evening fishing with 50 places in pond 1 on Friday 14/8 from 5:00 PM to midnight. The event is fully booked.
The fee is 400 SEK per place. Cages can be rented for 25 SEK/each, maximum five cages per place. Catch of 2kg per place per place. If you catch more, you can pay for this at a cost of 200 SEK/kg.
During the rest of the time, crayfish fishing is prohibited in all ponds.
Availability
In pond 1 there is a dock adapted for walkers, wheelchairs and mobility aids. There is an accessible toilet that is always open. There is also a long floating dock.
In pond 1 there are two short piers, in pond 2 two short piers and in pond 5 one long pier.
There is an opportunity for people with reduced mobility to park their car in a designated space next to pond 1.
