BOOKABLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS

The Wild Skrylle (Fsk to high school)
A walk in nature where we talk about the animals that live here and their behaviors, WE look for animal tracks such as nests, tracks and poop and take a closer look at some horns and skulls. We discuss ecosystems and food chains, talk about the senses of animals, how to get closer to the animals and how we can coexist with the wild Skrylle.

The life of insects (Elementary school to high school)
We focus on the small creatures that live in Skrylle, look for gray sows and learn more about them, how they contribute to the cycle? We may watch a short film about soil and decomposition and then we go on a small insect hunt near the visitor center.

Lifting (Elementary school to high school)
We go to Skryllesjön and net, taking the opportunity to talk about the quarry and the geology here. We focus on the protected amphibians and their life cycles as well as other aquatic creatures we may find. If there is water in the small pond, we can look for salamanders there. Depending on the age of the students, invasive species can also be addressed.

Public right (Middle school to high school)
We talk together about the right of public access, its benefits and the responsibility it entails. The students take a quiz and go through the questions together. This can be combined with another activity or if you only have a short time.

Feel at home in the forest (Fsk to high school)
It is important that children and young people feel safe in nature, so we carry out a few different exercises outdoors. We talk about how to behave if you get lost, as well as some basic navigation tips, we look for edible plants or build huts together.

Walk the Lost Path (Fsk to high school)
We walk the Lost Path, about 800 m, where there are educational stations that inform children about what to do if they get lost. We also talk about what we see in nature and adapt it to the season.

Pee and poop (Preschool to primary school)
We talk about what happens to the food animals eat, what pee and poop are, how animals communicate with their excrement and about the cycle in the forest.

OTHER TOPICS WE CAN GUIDE ON
We are happy to talk about the cultural landscape, the history of Skrylle or other topics. Contact the visitor center and we can tell you more.

DISPLAY OF THE EXHIBITION
Presentations and introductions to the exhibition can be booked for small or large groups. If you are coming on your own, please ask the nature guide for an introduction.
