The spruce forest was planted as a production forest, which means that it has low biological values. The thinning is carried out with conventional logging machines to obtain an economic net that is used within the municipality.
nature conservation and outdoor life work. The stand is thinned and small gaps are created. In these gaps, it is hoped that a natural regeneration of spruce and deciduous trees will take place. The long-term goal is a mixed forest that is both pleasant for outdoor life and has high natural values.
NOTE: Remember not to go near logging machines and forwarders that are transporting the timber!
