Summer program

Unless otherwise stated, we will gather outside the entrance to the visitor center. If it is pre-booked, that will also be stated. If you have any questions about the program, please contact the visitor center! The visitor center is closed on Mondays.

Look out for spontaneous activities – we will write these on the blackboard on the same day. There may also be crafts or we will set out the microscopes.

Audio walk: Time of the forest
Join us on an audio walk about different perspectives on the forest. Download the app Climaginaries and go for a walk while listening to one or all three audio tracks. Each track is about 25 minutes. A suggestion is to walk the 1.2km loop but you can walk wherever you want while listening. Feel free to come into the visitor center and talk about your experience with us.
The audio tour is produced by Lund University and Umami production.

Curious about…
What are the nature guides curious about today? We follow the season and see what the day has to offer. Nature is the green thread and we adapt the activity to those who come. For all ages. 11-11.30 and 14-14.30

July 11 and August 4, 15, 16

July 12, 21, 25 and 26
Meadow bath
Join us for a brand new activity! Meadow bathing is a bit like forest bathing, but we relax in a meadow instead. The idea is that you will notice all the biodiversity that exists while taking it very slowly. A little mindfulness where we discover the incredible diversity of species found among insects and other small creatures in nature. Nothing is required from your side. From 12 years old. Bring a sleeping mat if you have one. Some are available to borrow. 1-2 p.m.

July 22
Fish & Chill
A wordless clown show where the audience follows fisherman Ray, who transforms public spaces into his playground, harnessing the energy of each location and involving the audience in his crazy antics. Join us on an unforgettable fishing trip where anything can happen! Suitable for all ages. Collaboration with Sommarlund.
10-10.35 a.m.

July 29 and 30
Dye yarn with plants
How do you actually dye yarn with different plants? What colors can you get and how do you make the color last? In this workshop we go through the basics. We go on a short walk and collect plants that we then use to dye wool yarn.
1-3:30 p.m.

August 5 and 6
Medicinal plants
Learn to make your own ointments and tinctures with wild plants. We start with a short walk and collect some plants and then we will stop on the wooden deck behind the visitor center. Max 30 participants, first come first served. 1:30-3 p.m.

August 8
Edible wild plants
Nature is a pantry full of useful and tasty plants just waiting for us to discover them. Eva Karlsson (Inspiratilia) takes you on a guided walk where we look for edibles. Get tips on recipes and uses for the delicacies we come across.

NOTE: Limited number of places. Pre-booking to naturum@lund.se (max 25 participants). 10:45-12:15 and 14:30-16:00
