One km of nature – nature guide in Skrylleskogen
Join us on a spring walk in the forest where we talk about trees, stone walls and what's happening in the forest right now.
The guided tour is part of Sustainability Week in Lund.
The walk is part of a research project run by SLU and Lund University. Adult participants will fill out a questionnaire before and after the walk, and as a thank you we will offer coffee.
Gathering inside the nature center.
Temporary exhibition
The return of nature – an exhibition from the Lund Society for Nature Conservation
Despite the great impact of humans, many efforts are being made today to protect and restore nature. The Return of Nature highlights positive examples of when nature is on its way back in Lund Municipality. The images are divided into four different themes: The return of wetlands, the living dead wood, wild neighbors and the return of the flower meadow.
Then you can mingle with the photographers and learn more about the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation.
The exhibition can be seen until May 28. The pictures are inside the visitor center but also outdoors, so that part can be seen even when the visitor center is closed.
Quiz in the VisitLund app
There is a quiz about folk beliefs along Mullestigen, which winds its way right next to the visitor center. You can find this and much more in the Visit Lund app.
After the lecture, we will go on a hike together along the Ulastigen trail (3 km). Here you will have the opportunity to collect impressions and ideas from nature – maybe you will find the colors for your next sweater!
